How to Choose the Right Wallpaper Resolution
A simple checklist for picking anime wallpaper resolution by device type.
Resolution is only useful when it matches how you view the image. Use this checklist before downloading.
1. Know your screen
Check display settings for native resolution (for example 1170×2532 on some iPhones, 1440×3200 on some Androids, 2560×1440 on QHD monitors).
2. Match orientation
Phones → portrait. Most monitors → landscape. Using the wrong orientation forces ugly crops.
3. Prefer equal or higher source resolution
Downloading slightly above native is fine. Far below native forces upscaling and softness.
4. Consider file size
If you download dozens of wallpapers, Full HD/Mobile variants save space with little visual loss on phones.
5. Preview on the wallpaper page
Anime4KWall wallpaper pages list width, height, format, and orientation when known — use those fields instead of guessing from the title alone.
